OrgDeck ("OrgDeck," "we," "us") is operated by 2844497 Alberta Ltd. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OrgDeck website and application (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
OrgDeck is an independent, fan-made tool for organizing gaming communities, including Star Citizen organizations. OrgDeck is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cloud Imperium Games Corporation, Roberts Space Industries Corp., or any of their affiliates. Any references to Star Citizen ships, organizations, or terminology within the Service are used solely for identification purposes by our users and remain the property of their respective owners.
OrgDeck is also not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord Inc. Optional Discord sign-in and per-organization Discord integrations (webhooks, slash commands) are provided as a convenience and are subject to Discord's own terms.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away at the contact below if you believe your account has been compromised.
Each organization leader may lead one organization at a time within OrgDeck. Organization membership, roles, and permissions are managed by your organization's own leadership, not by us — we don't arbitrate internal org disputes.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms.
OrgDeck's software, code, designs, logos, and everything else that makes up the Service belong to us (or our licensors). Using the Service doesn't give you any ownership or rights in any of that beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service — organization descriptions, images, bug reports, and the like. By submitting content, you grant us a license to host, store, process, reproduce, modify, and transmit it, solely to operate, maintain, improve, and provide the Service to you. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to share whatever you upload.
Almost everything visible in an organization — its name, description, logo, achievement badge text, loot pool items, alliance notes, and bug report attachments — is written or uploaded by users, not by us. We don't pre-screen it. We're not responsible for user-submitted content, and we don't endorse it just because it appears on the Service. If you believe content violates these Terms or is otherwise unlawful, report it to us at the contact below and we'll review it — we may remove content or restrict an account at our discretion without prior notice. If you believe content infringes your copyright specifically, see our Copyright Policy for how to send a notice.
If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you're giving us permission to use them — implement them, build on them, ship them — without owing you anything in return.
Some features may be offered as part of a paid subscription tier, or as one-time purchases of optional personal cosmetics. Where paid features are enabled, pricing and what's included may change from time to time — we'll make current pricing visible in the app before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; OrgDeck never receives or stores your full card details.
Subscriptions can be managed or canceled at any time from your organization's billing settings — see our Refund Policy for exactly how cancellations, trials, and one-time purchases work.
OrgDeck is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We're a small, actively-developed project — features may change, and we don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We'll do our best to communicate meaningful outages or breaking changes in advance where practical.
We also can't guarantee that your content or data will never be lost, corrupted, or accessed without authorization. If something is important to you, keep your own backup of it — don't rely on OrgDeck as your only copy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OrgDeck and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of profits, goodwill, data, or access, or disruption to your organization's activities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions don't allow excluding certain warranties or limiting liability the way this section does. If you're in one of those places, this section applies only as far as your local law actually allows.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OrgDeck and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, content you submit, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) with reasonable notice where practical. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we'll try to give you reasonable notice in-app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Before filing a claim against us, please contact us at the address below and describe the issue. We'll try in good faith to resolve it informally within 30 days. This doesn't waive either party's right to go to court afterward — it's a first step, not a substitute for one.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Except where the law doesn't allow it, you and OrgDeck agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, or our relationship will be resolved through final, binding arbitration rather than in court. Arbitration will take place in Edmonton, Alberta, in English, administered by the ADR Institute of Canada under its Simplified Arbitration Rules, in front of a single arbitrator.
To the extent the law allows it, both you and OrgDeck agree to bring any claims individually — not as a class action, a private attorney general action, or in any proceeding where either side acts in a representative capacity on someone else's behalf.
You can opt out of the arbitration and class-action-waiver provisions above. To do so, email orgdeckinfo@gmail.com within 30 days of creating your account, with your full name, your account's email address, and a clear statement that you're opting out. Miss that window and these provisions apply to you going forward. Opting out only affects arbitration and the class-action waiver — the rest of this section (including governing law and, if arbitration doesn't apply to you, where lawsuits must be filed) still applies.
If you live somewhere that doesn't allow mandatory arbitration or class-action waivers for consumers, or a court decides the arbitration or class-action provisions above don't apply to your dispute, you agree that any lawsuit must be brought exclusively in the courts of the Province of Alberta in Edmonton, and you consent to those courts' jurisdiction.
Questions about these Terms? Reach out at orgdeckinfo@gmail.com, or use the in-app bug report form if you're already signed in.
